“AI Skin Scan: Skin Cancer Screening in Seconds”.

Skin cancer can strike anyone. Approximately 4% of all cancer patients in Austria suffer from skin melanoma and the earlier it can be detected, the better the chances are of survival. The 14th installment of the JKU medTALK series focused the topic of skin cancer: A new 3D imaging system and an AI-supported initial analysis can assess a patient's risk in just five minutes.
