Celebrating with Dario and Lisa

Last week, we celebrated the achievements of Dario and Lisa. Dario successfully completed his Master’s degree in Computer Science in October 2024, and Lisa completed her technical PhD in November 2023.

“Our work is so rewarding because we get to collaborate with amazing people. When they reach their goals, we all celebrate with them,” says Rick Rabiser.

Dario worked at our institute for several years and fondly looks back on his experiences. “While writing my Master’s thesis, I always received valuable support from my advisors. Even before graduating, I had the chance to present first results at a conference,” he reflects on his time at our institute. “Above all, I appreciate the LIT CPS Lab as a lively, diverse group that I was always happy to be a part of.”

Lisa delivered an inspiring speech at the academic ceremony. She spoke about the challenges she faced on her path to graduation and, more importantly, how she overcame them. “No matter who we are or where we come from, our curiosity and our desire to learn brought us here. That’s what defines us and connects us,” she said, encouraging the audience to stand up for equal opportunities and support those seeking help.
