Julia Grillmayr is a freelance cultural scientist and journalist, working in both print and radio. She writes for the Standard and Augustin, does broadcasts for Ö1, and created the radio show Superscience Me (https://cba.fro.at/podcast/superscience-me, opens an external URL in a new window) on Radio Orange. She teaches and conducts researches on topics including science fiction, feminism, and environmental humanities at art universities in Salzburg, Linz, and Vienna . She holds a PhD in Comparative Literature that was part of an interdisciplinary research project together with a quantum physicist and a sociologist.
