Funding for Entrepreneurs of the City of Linz

for start-ups and young entrepreneurs at the LIT Open Innovation Center

Start-ups at the interface of innovation, research and business: Start-up funding supports technology-oriented start-ups and spin-offs that rent a workspace in the LIT Open Innovation Center.

The City of Linz supports a total of 12 workstations in the Open Space and covers the usage fee for up to 3 workstations per applicant.

What is supported?

  • Funding will be provided for the monthly usage fee for up to three workstations per applicant, subject to eligibility guidelines, opens a file.
  • A workstation includes a fixed workspace with a desk, office chair, lockable storage space, Internet access, and use of common areas such as meeting rooms, kitchenettes, and restrooms.
  • The amount of the subsidy is 50% of the user fee for a workstation in the first year, 40% in the second year and 30% in the third year (excluding VAT and indexation).
  • The maximum subsidy period is three years from the date of first occupancy of the OIC.
