As part of the “Law Enforcement” course at the JKU, JKU law students joined course instructor Prof. Walter Summersberger on a visit to the Federal Fiscal Court. Johann Fischerlehner, head of the Linz regional office, spent a great deal of time introducing the students to fiscal jurisdiction. The future legal professionals were then allowed to take part in an oral hearing chaired by Mr. Fischerlehner as a single judge. Prof. Summersberger remarked: “Once again, I believe it was a valuable experience for students to experience the courts in action. The students got a lot out of it!”

He would also like to thank Prof. Thomas Garber: “In cooperation with judges at the Linz Regional Court, my colleague prepared a first-rate program for the students. I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his efforts!”
