Winter-Themed Catering
We unanimously agree that the most important part of our winter festival was the food, the drinks, and a Christmas chalet. Our two caterers, Freddy and Gustav, served up delicious potato-based snacks and hot drinks to warm the palate and satisfy the stomach despite winter temperatures.

The OIC Winter Festival Opening Remarks and Interesting Insight
The Winter Festival was also an opportunity to learn more about the OIC. Christiane Tusek, Vice-Rector for Finance and Entrepreneurship, and Petra Muschitz, BSc, team leader, Operations and Event Management, officially welcomed the guests and provided insight into the OIC's accomplishments. They presented a summarized report about the OIC, showcasing all of our impressive achievements during 2023.

Injection Molding Demonstration at the LIT Factory:
An additional highlight during the evening included the injection molding demonstration at the LIT Factory, which involved the use of recycled plastic packaging. Our members had the opportunity to observe the innovative process of injection molding up close. The interactive experience delivered a behind-the-scenes look at modern production and illustrated advancements at the Open Innovation Center and at the LIT Factory. They even had the opportunity to make their own little gifts.
Surprise guest: St. Nicholas ensured a festive atmosphere!
The festive atmosphere was topped off with a visit by St. Nicholas. As part of his surprise visit, he not only handed out presents, but also contributed to the festive atmosphere. Thank you, dear St. Nicholas, for your spontaneity and for rocking our Winter Festival! We know you only visited our very well-behaved members 😉.

The LIT Open Innovation Center's Winter Festival and Annual End-of-Year Celebrations were a Resounding Success
The event not only included culinary delights, engaging opening remarks, an interactive glimpse at the LIT Factory, and a visit from St. Nicholas, but also reinforced the spirit of solidarity throughout our OIC community.
