Economy and monastic life in interdisciplinary dialogue

This anthology contrasts basic questions from business administration and economic practice with theological considerations and monastic life in order to show the level of encounter between companies and monasteries and to stimulate a process of exchange. The multi-layered approach, which brings together contributions from business administration, theology, sociology, history, law and canonical studies, should be emphasised, and thus does better justice to the multidimensional object of investigation. The aim is to strengthen an interdisciplinary as well as interconfessional dialogue and to provide a deeper theoretical foundation for this topic, which has been taken up in practice and at international conferences.
