In an effort to support international partnerships in university medicine, particularly in the clinical field, the Faculty of Medicine's MED Mobilitas funding program provides support to academic phyisicians at university hospitals, clinical institutes, and clinical departments at the Johannes Kepler University Linz to undertake a research stay (for a period of one to three months).

Funding applications may be submitted on an ongoing basis throughout the year, whereby the application must be submitted in full a minimum of three months prior to the planned stay.
