What is at the centre of successful strategies - a clear competitive position or the targeted development of unique resources and capabilities?
In this week's unit of our "Essentials of Strategic Leadership" course, we worked together with committed representatives of uniforce, opens an external URL and Uni Management Club, opens an external URL to develop, compare and apply the areas of tension and areas of application of industry-related positioning strategies and resource- and skills-oriented strategy work to real contexts.
The dialogue between students and practice partners showed impressively that it is not a question of either - or, but of a reflected understanding of when which perspective makes strategic sense.
A big thank you to our guests for the inspiring discussion and their willingness to provide an insight into strategic practice!
