The voestalpine Steel Division's new business incubator (nbi) supports employees in developing innovative ideas into business. Thanks to the initiative of the Institute of Strategic Management at JKU, Daniela Gusenbauer became part of the tailor-made functional steel (tfs) team within the nbi in March 2024. Tfs digitizes steel. Thanks to the conductive tracks applied to the steel surface, tfs sells smart steel with additional functions, such as heating or detection of loading conditions. Daniela supports the team in market and acquisition research as well as in the development of sales and communication strategies and can thereby transfer the knowledge gained at the JKU into practice.
