Mentoring program for students in the Master of Business Informatics.

jjdj

As a first-semester student in the Master's program in Information Systems, you now have the opportunity to participate in the new mentoring program. The program is designed to make it easier for you to start your Master's program at the JKU Business School and to provide you with a mentor for personal support and individual encouragement throughout your Master's program.

Who are the mentors?

The mentors are professors from the four business informatics institutes who will pass on their experience to you in discussions and advise you on questions about your studies.

How does the mentoring program work?

During the course of your studies, there are always phases in which problems can arise, e.g. at the beginning of your studies when it comes to planning your individual course of studies or the question of which major is best suited or at the end when questions arise about writing your Master's thesis. Together with your mentor, you will look for possible solutions in one-to-one mentoring. You will also gain important insights into various research projects in business informatics.

How can I participate in the mentoring program?

At the beginning of each semester, you will receive an invitation to participate from the program management. You will be assigned a mentor according to your preferences. Once you have been assigned a professor, you can simply attend the first meeting.

If you have any further questions, please contact the program manager, Christian Hölzlwimmer, MSc (christian.hoelzlwimmer(at)jku.at).
