In December, WirtschaftsWoche once again published a ranking, opens an external URL in a new window of the most productive researchers in business administration in German-speaking Europe. Among the over 3,700 researchers listed, Prof. Martin Hiebl (JKU Institute of Management Accounting and Consulting) ranked 46th over the past five years, and even first among researchers in Austria. Hiebl ranked 116th in the Lifetime Achievement Ranking, while Prof. Markus Sinnl (JKU Institute for Business Analytics and Technology Transformation) also ranked highly on behalf of the JKU, coming 7th overall and first among Austrian universities in a ranking of researchers under age 40. Over the past five years, Sinnl has been ranked 93rd, and 215th in the Lifetime Achievement Ranking.
