The Dr. Hans Riegel Awards at the JKU for outstanding pre-academic papers.
In cooperation with the Kaiserschild Foundation, the JKU once again invites school students to the Dr. Hans Riegel Awards presented in recognition of outstanding pre-academic papers. Soon-to-be graduating high school students can submit papers in one of the five STEM subject areas of computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry/plastic engineering and biology. The jury is comprised of JKU faculty members who will evaluate the submissions and present the awards at an awards ceremony. The awards are accompanied with prize money of up to €600 in total, and non-cash prizes worth €250 awarded to the award winner's school.
