Be Careful - it's Old: What Museums Need to Bear in Mind When Displaying Exhibitions

Museums come alive thanks to the objects that are on display. But how can we protect these often very old and ancient objects? How do you transport them and what happens if they get damaged? This workshop addresses these and other questions, such as: Can we put anything we want on display? And what if the items had been stolen, such as during the Nazi era?

We'll look at certain objects in the Sarsteiner Collection at the Bad Ischl Museum and follow in the footsteps of a real museum director as we explore these questions and more!

Have you ever been insulted or bullied on social media? Or maybe even done it yourself? Unfortunately, this happens all too often. But it’s not just harmless teasing - it’s a criminal offense! In this workshop, you will learn all about the cyberbullying laws outlined in Austrian legislation. You'll get a clear understanding of what cyberbullying is, when insults cross the line and become punishable under criminal law. Through brainstorming and group work, we will explore this important topic, using many real-life examples and cases to make it more tangible. We’ll also address offline bullying because one thing is certain: bullying is no joke!
