Following the sensational success of "Fascination Jellyfish" in July 2023, the Circus of Knowledge will once again include the play about the mysterious world of these marine animals in its program: What on earth do jellyfish have to do with immortality and lowering blood pressure? Why do scientists call them "organized water"? Can jellyfish form states? Jellyfish have no brain, no heart, no lungs and no bones, so how can they still be animals? Explore these questions and more as we learn more about one of the oldest and most dangerous creatures of the seas.

The mixed ensemble of professionals and young performers impresses with an expressive form of "dehumanization" and conjures up mystical images of the Medusae in this musical dance theatre performance. Their beauty inspired costume designer Tanja Lattner to create bright creations and also turned the children involved into fashion designers in the spirit of upcycling.

Sounds of the spheres through a total of 80 soundtracks recorded in music studios contain sounds and rhythms that were created exclusively by collected plastic waste. The music for the production is by the young singer-songwriter Fiona Corray, the touching song "Lizzy – the Jellyfish" by young singers from the VOICE community classes of HELIX projects.

In a very humorous and at the same time haunting way, director Christine Maria Krenn and actor Christian Scharrer manage to link theirs with the world of jellyfish. Be mindful, develop intuition and open the door to the future with reason – for us, for everyone!

A subtle and visually stunning piece full of poetry and awareness-raising elements that make us slow down and touch us deeply!
