The Rectorate
The Rectorate is responsible for the university's management and consists of the following official offices:

University Senate
The University Senate addresses all academic matters. The Senate consists of 26 elected individuals who are active at all areas of the university.
University Council
The University Council acts as a controlling body and is made up of 9 individuals from academia and the local business community.
Faculties, Schools and other departments
The JKU has four faculties as well as schools, university-wide institutes and other departments with research and teaching responsibilities. In total, there are over 140 institutes, university departments and competence centers.

The JKU Austrian Students' Union is a legally elected organization representing the interests of all students enrolled at the JKU Linz.
