During the event, the B-WISE Consortium will present and discuss the results and achievements attained by the project.
Work Integration Social Enterprises (WISEs) play a vital role in giving millions of people who struggle to find jobs a chance to work. WISEs need to balance supporting their employees with meeting the demands of their local economies. To make this happen, everyone working in a WISE should have the right skills to create and deliver their products and services. However, the people working in WISEs constitute a diverse group, in which each person has different skill requirements, educational backgrounds, values, motivations, and levels of commitment to learning.
Join us as we'll explore how B-WISE has tackled these diverse needs. We’ll show you how we’ve developed cross-European yet localised training materials to boost the work integration of those who need extra support. This is your chance to hear from key stakeholders, dive into the implementation of the European WISE Skills Strategy, and discuss policy recommendations.
And it's not over yet! For all those interested in the WISE sector, on the following day, 14th of November, the BuyWISEly project will organise an insightful conference, showcasing good practices and examples coming from successful partnerships between WISEs and mainstream businesses across Europe!
