The 19th annual International Conference on Computers Helping People with Special Needs (ICCHP) will take place in July 2024. Initially launched at the JKU Linz during the 80s, the ICCHP is now a leading global conference with participants from over 50 countries. This year’s conference will once again take place in Linz. ICCHP’s mission continues unabated to facilitate inclusive and participatory access to all areas of life for the disabled and the elderly. To do so, access to information and communication technologies and assistive technologies must be more widely available. The ICCHP conference creates an interdisciplinary platform and a scientific forum to connect diverse interest groups together in a welcoming and comfortable environment. By organizing this conference - and with the assistance of JKU employees at the Institute for Integrated Studies - we aim to present our university, a leader in this field, as socially involved and technologically advanced.

The conference registration fee of €572 has been reduced to just €110 for all JKU employees and students.
