The Digital Transformation of Health Care is in Your Hands: The Value of Design Science Research to Advance Transdisciplinary Projects in the Digital Health Space
Workshop with Prof. Dr. Lauri Wessel
This workshop is about you and moving your digital health project forward by mastering the fundamentals of Design Science Research Methodology (DSRM). The workshop is about helping you advance your project by using DSRM to guide you in anchoring your work in scholarly references, building prototypes based on them and evaluating your work in a real-world setting. By this stage, a "project" may be anything ranging from a rough idea of how healthcare might be improved, or a product you want to build, to a well-thought-out initiative you envision (paper, grant proposal, spin-off project, etc.). As part of this workshop, we will collaboratively create a plan of action you can use to manage all of these projects thereafter. I would encourage participants to bring their ideas (such as a product, service or desired outcome) so that we can utilize the workshop to team up and move your ideas forward. By the end of the day you will understand how DSRM works and be able to apply it to your particular field of interest.
