Two master theses from the first cohort of the LIO program were awarded with the LIO Netural, öffnet eine externe URL in einem neuen Fenster Master's Thesis Award. The award is given to theses that contribute to research on leadership, innovation and/or organization and provide insights for decision makers. Two equal excellent theses were chosen.

One thesis was a joint venture by Maximilian Kuchenbauer, Nico Mang, and Samuel Scherzinger who developed a scale to measure how migrant entrepreneurs relate to their environment.

The other thesis was written by Marcella Krawinkler who identifies core elements and driving factors sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystems.
