Objectives

Receptive (reading, listening) and productive (writing, speaking) skills practice at B1 level according to the Common European Frame of References and on the basis of the textbook “Momente B1”.

Communicative Skills

• General comprehension when clear standard language is used and when dealing with familiar matters from work, school, leisure, etc.
• Coping with situations while traveling
• Simple and connected expressions on familiar topics and areas of personal interest
• Reporting on experiences and events, speaking about dreams, hopes and goals as well as plans and opinions and their reasons
• Strengthening of oral competence, training of fluent and spontaneous speech through discussions, short presentations, presentation of one’s own point of view, explanation of advantages and disadvantages as well as reports about one’s own experiences and adventures.

Assessment criteria

Mandatory, regular attendance (at least 80% of weekly classes must be attended), active class participation, written homework, mid-term test, final exam.
