Objectives

Practice and consolidation of individual, selected grammar topics covered in the course "German as a Foreign Language B2".

Course content

• Passive: past tense (present, perfect, preterite, with modal verb) and state passive; alternatives.
• Sentence structures (main clause: position of dative and accusative object; TE-KA-MO-LO; the position of "nicht"; verb position in main and subordinate clauses); temporal clauses; two-part connectors
• Reflexive verbs
• Verbs + prepositions; prepositional adverbs ("da-"); questions with "wo-" + preposition / preposition + interrogative word
• Subjunctive II present and past tense
• Participles as adjectives

Assessment criteria

Mandatory, regular attendance (at least 80% of weekly classes must be attended), active class participation, written homework, mid-term test, final exam.
