Objectives

Practice and consolidation of selected grammar topics covered in the course "German as a Foreign Language C1".

Course content

• Repetition of individual grammatical aspects: two-part connectors, prepositions, etc.; passive voice (with modal verbs, alternatives)
• Functions of the sentence element "es”
• Modal verbs: subjective meaning, alternatives
• Noun-verb connections
• Indirect speech (with subjunctive I)
• Verbal and nominal style; sentence structure
• Causal, final, consecutive, participial and temporal clauses

Assessment criteria

Mandatory, regular attendance (at least 80% of weekly classes must be attended), active class participation, written homework, mid-term test, final exam.
