To register for a German language course you must already be enrolled as a JKU student and have an admission for studying (Zulassungsbescheid zum Studium). For the German course registration you will need your student ID number which you can find on your student ID card (JKU Card). For information about admission for a study program please contact the Admissions Office (admission(at)jku.at).

If you study at another Austrian university you can register at JKU as a co-registered student (Mitbeleger*in). For more information on application and admission please contact the Admissions Office (admission(at)jku.at) or visit www.jku.at/en/degree-programs/students/co-registered-students/, opens an external URL in a new window

If you have not registered for German courses before, you will have to be cleared for the course registration. To receive clearance, please send us a copy of your German certificate (not older than 2 years) to fachsprachen(at)jku.at as proof of your language proficiency.

Period of course registration: Dates and Deadlines. As soon as the course is full, there is no further possibility of registration.

Only after the completion of payment is your place in the course secure.
Places in the courses are assigned by order of payment.
