Integrated Circuits –
Our Philosophy.

At the Department for Integrated Circuits, we're driven by a passion for advancing knowledge in our field. We believe that research should be pursued for its own sake, not just to publish papers or check boxes.

We value diversity and inclusivity, not just because it's the right thing to do, but because we know that different perspectives and experiences make us better researchers and educators. Our department is a place where everyone can grow and contribute, regardless of their background or identity. We're committed to creating an environment that's supportive, collaborative, and open-minded. We want our students and colleagues to feel like they can take risks, share their ideas, and explore new possibilities without fear of judgment.

Ultimately, we believe that by working together and sharing our expertise, we can achieve something truly remarkable.

Quantum Computing –
Our Philosophy.

We approach research in quantum computing as the multidisciplinary field that it is. Our team consists of computer scientists, (quantum) physicists, (applied) mathematicians and artificial intelligence experts.

This varied backgrounds support one another in achieving our goal of answering fundamental questions, we do research to advance our knowledge in our research fields, we do not do research just to publish papers.

We are committed to creating a welcoming, warm and diverse working environment. Our culture is the result of each individual's contributions and we strongly believe that we all can benefit from one another, in and outside the work environment. "Diversity breeds creativity" is one of our core themes in the workplace, therefore all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, country of origin, genetics, disability, age and everything and anything else in between.
